MBC Men’s Softball - Game #1

We played at 7:30pm, with the weather clearing up just before game time.
I haven’t played softball since Emmaus, so it’s been 2 seasons. I didn’t expect to play very well since I wouldn’t be in the swing of things, but thankfully, I was wrong.
I played out in left field, and the first batter popped it up to left center. I was able to run over and call off the center fielder and pull it in. Awesome.
I caught a few more pop-fly’s…and also missed some that they crushed over my head to the fence. Overall, I was very happy with my defensive performance, although it wasn’t mistake free.
On offense, my first at bat I cranked one out to center field (I shocked myself at how far I hit it) and managed to get a triple. I then scored as the next batter hit a sacrifice fly to left.
I got one more hit, which was a single, but ended the game 2-5 (I think).
The game was a lot of fun.
Next game: Thursday (9/10) at 9:30 at field #4.
